The Plainfield SID said "thank you" to its partners and donors at a community celebration on April 10, 2008. In addition to recognizing our supporters, the SID also announced the winners of the 2007 Readers Choice Awards from the Holiday issue of our Positively Plainfield magazine.

Over 400 people enjoyed the horse-and-wagon rides conducted by the Plainfield Special Improvement District on Saturday, December 8, 2007.
In addition to the rides, the Plainfield SID thanks the following businesses who contributed to the day's success by generously donating the following:

The Plainfield SID unveiled its new 35-foot, illuminated flagpole in a patriotic ceremony at Plainwood Square Park on South Avenue on May 17, 2007. The pole is adorned by the American flag (top) and SID flag.
