The SID recognized our Readers' Choice Award winners and presented our annual Partnership Awards to those who have aided the success of the SID.

The celebration was held at Anthony's Place on South Avenue. More than 20 businesses received Readers Choice Awards. Partnership Awards were presented to Ivan K. Lo, Plainfield artist; DPW's John Louise, and Police Captain Ruth Selzam. |

community celebration on April 10, 2008.
In addition to recognizing our supporters,
the SID also announced
the winners of the 2007
Readers Choice Awards from
the Holiday issue of our
Positively Plainfield magazine.
The 2009 celebration will be held in May.

SID ERECTS ILLUMINATED FLAGPOLE
AT SOUTH AVENUE GATEWAY
The Plainfield SID unveiled its new
35-foot, illuminated flagpole in a
patriotic ceremony at Plainwood Square
Park on South Avenue on May 17, 2007.
The pole is adorned by the American
flag (top) and SID flag.
